6. Is there a Potential opportunity for a sustainable U.S. brand to Chinese students?

According to GMAC, the overall number of Chinese students registered in U.S. higher education continues to grow over the past two decades.

  • 8,554 GMAT exams taken by Chinese students in 2005. (4% of total GMAT exams taken globally)
  • 62,691 GMAT exams taken by Chinese students in 2015. (25% of total GMAT exams taken globally)

We all know that many people work toward the American dream. A U.S. degree means a lot to Chinese students who want to either stay in the U.S. or go back to China. ICEF Monitor mentioned that Chinese are attracted to branded universities and also give promotional suggestions to educational institutions. For example, improving the quality of photography and highlighting the benefits for graduates. From The Lawlor Review, Having international students means of creating diversity and enhancing the level of revenue for many U.S. Universities.
